Friday

     Up at 5:30. Dressed and breakfasted everyone, then drove to Newhaven. P was sick on the way, I couldn't believe it, what a start to the holiday. Cleaned him up, worried we would miss the ferry and rushed to Newhaven. Ferry delayed by two hours!
    Rest of trip uneventful (thankfully.) S and L loved the ferry and P toddled around on the deck.
    Drove to Alencon and looked for a hotel. Found a really nice one - new and clean, with en suite shower and loo. It had a little balcony with beds for S and L. Hope to get a good night's sleep.
